How to fix internal staging failures

When a site is installed on a server with limited resource usage, WPTC staging operations might fail in specific scenarios. However, we can fix the problem by adjusting the settings of staging.

Error: Failed to clone database.

WPTC plugin is unable to clone a few tables from your WordPress DB. Those tables might have a massive amount of data in a single row. So the memory of your server could get exhausted which fails Staging site creation. To fix this problem, reduce the value of DB rows cloning limit under Settings -> Staging by few hundreds.

Error: Failed to copy files.

As the error message suggests, WPTC plugin is unable to copy some files on a certain amount of time. You will experience this problem when your server has prolonged files copying process.
To fix this problem, reduce the value of Files cloning limit by a few hundred.

Error: Failed to replace links

WPTC is not able to replace staging links on some tables which might have a considerable amount of data in a single row. So the memory of your server could get exhausted which fails Staging site creation. To fix this problem, reduce the value of Deep Link replacing the limit by few hundreds.

Note: Upon saving the changes, please REFRESH the staging page. WPTC will resume the staging process. You do not need to restart the staging process.
