How to encrypt your WPTC Database backup file

Now, you can encrypt the Database backup files before uploading it to your cloud storage. Let's see how we can enable the encryption for your database backup.

Go to WP Time Capsule -> Settings -> Backups -> Encrypt Database.

Here select Yes and enter a unique encryption phase. Then Save Changes.

Please make sure that you are keeping a record of your Encryption phrases. These details are needed to decrypt your Database backup when you manually download the file.
Also, you shouldn't be changing your Encryption key once saved. Else the existing backups will become useless.
